 Telecare
Every weekday morning, over 70 homebound individuals in our community receive a call from the American Red Cross Telecare program. Volunteer callers check in with Telecare participants every morning, Monday through Friday just to be sure they are safe and to share a few precious moments at the start of the day.
This unique program provides peace of mind and a connection to the homebound. It is a free service that allows individuals to maintain their independence.
To sign up for a free Telecare call, contact the Red Cross at 419-329-2900 or 1-888-590-0098. Or e-mail Diane Dixon at dixond@usa.redcross.org.
