Disaster Services Human Resource (DSHR) Information
Benefits Being an employee or volunteer of the American Red Cross brings you many benefits, one of which is eligibility for you and your family to join Pentagon Federal Credit Union.
National Incident Management System (NIMS) Information In an effort for all agencies to respond more effectively, the American Red Cross has asked all disaster volunteers to take online training available on the NIMS Web site. Each suggested training section has a number of segments (5 – 8) that should take you from 15 – 40 minutes each to complete. You can do one segment at a time and go back to the next segment at your leisure. Each section ends with a summary and at the end of the summary you will find a test that you download and the fill in your answer sheet online.
You will be notified by email as to your passing of each section and receive a certificate to that regard. Please forward a copy of the certificates to the chapter office so we can update your records.
