 We Want YOU!
As part of a statewide drill, Jessica Cook of Start High School activated the 120 outdoor tornado sirens in Lucas County on March 25, 2009, from the Sheriff’s console in the 9-1-1 Emergency Services Building. | Today, the involvement of young people with the Red Cross is more important than ever. The Red Cross currently engages over 169,000 youth and young adults with meaningful opportunities for education, training, and volunteer/community service so that we remain a part of the Red Cross family throughout our lives.
Fill out a Volunteer Application, take our online orientation, do a background check (if teaching), and complete a driver’s safety course (if driving Red Cross vehicles). That's all you need to do to begin your volunteer experience with the American Red Cross.
Contact Du'aa Elnoory, Youth Outreach Specialist, by phone at: 419-329-2295 or send an e-mail message to: elnooryd@usa.redcross.org for more information. You can also join our group on FACEBOOK to learn more.
