healthClass Cancellation Notice

In the event of inclement weather, the American Red Cross will cancel classes to coincide with Toledo Public Schools. Tune in to your local television news program for a listing of cancellations. Participants attending a Toledo course, if you are unsure if your scheduled class has been cancelled, please call our office at 419-329-2183 one hour prior to your scheduled start time.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • The American Red Cross may cancel classes due to lack of enrollment or local inclement weather or disaster (during the school year, check your local listings).

  • If you cancel your class at least two business days prior to the date of the class, you can receive a full refund minus a $10 processing fee, OR you may transfer to another class one time only.

  • If you cancel less than two business days prior to the date of the class, 50% of the class fee may be refunded OR a credit memo or gift certificate in the full amount of the fees paid can be issued to be used toward a retail item or future class enrollment within the next 12 months.

  • No refund can be issued to individuals who do not show for a scheduled class or for failed courses.

Health and Safety Training at Worktake a class

We would be happy to have an American Red Cross health and safety instructor come to your workplace to train your staff. Submit the On-Site Training Inquiry Form by fax or email and a Red Cross representative will contact you. If you’re interested in conducting in-house training, please email the Health & Safety Services office and a representative will contact you with information.

Phone the Greater Toledo Area Chapter at 419-329-2183 and register with a Customer Relations representative.

Fax your registration form with credit card information to 419-537-6690.

Mail your registration form (with payment) to:

A receipt and course confirmation will be sent to you if you include a self-addressed stamped envelope with this form. Make check or money order payable to the American Red Cross.

In-Person: Bring your registration form with payment to the local Red Cross branch office.
